The High Commission of Sri Lanka wishes to bring to your kind attention that the Ministry of Disaster Management of Sri Lanka has informed that the Ministry no longer in a position to accept any relief materials related to the recent flood disaster. This is in view of the duty waiver extended by the Ministry of Finance for the relief materials received from foreign countries been terminated. 

As Sri Lanka embarks on the re-construction and infrastructure rehabilitation phase, the Ministry of Disaster Management encourages foreign donors and well-wishers to make financial contributions for the above purposes through the following account.
