Request for Donation of Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) Kits urgently required by the Health Authorities in Sri Lanka

The State Ministry of Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals of Sri Lanka has informed that  with the rise in the number of Omicron cases island wide,  there is an increasing need for Rapid Antigen Test( RAT) Kits in Public Hospitals and Health Centres in Sri Lanka.

The specification is annexed herewith.

LankaCorps Programme by the Asia Foundation: For Young Professionals of Sri Lankan Heritage (Diaspora)

LankaCorps is a unique programme initiated by the Asia Foundation targeting young professionals of Sri Lankan heritage living outside the country (between 21 to 30 years of age) to engage in social, cultural, and economic development activities in Sri Lanka.  Each year, The Asia Foundation selects an outstanding group of individuals to live and work in Sri Lanka for six months (June to December, including the orientation period) as LankaCorps Fellows, allowing them to “explore their roots while giving back."

The fellowship provides a travel stipend to cover roundtrip international airfare; in-country expenses, including a monthly stipend; and health insurance coverage for the duration of the programme.

LankaCorps Fellows will be placed with host organizations identified by The Asia Foundation in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. These affiliations will be augmented by an orientation programme, language training, and periodic activities with other young leaders.  Asia Foundation staff will offer in-country advisory and logistical support for the Fellows during their six-month affiliation.

For information on the programme and method of application, those interested may visit the following links which provide all information on the programme:

Applications may be sent directly via the above link to the Asia Foundation.

The deadline for applications is Tuesday, March 15, 2022
